Firstly i would to apologise to all my peers, Marc Bowers and to Steve for my lateness in this weeks lesson, very unlike me to be late. I was very disapointed to miss the talk given by a Marc even more as I missed the talk the other week by a former student due to illness.
I was looking forward to the next assignment, the last assignment set for this year when things start coming to a close and you start rounding up what you have learnt in the year. We found out that the assignemt was to design a cd packaging, including inlay, cover and cd. But we had to chose from a list of strange music titles and without hearing the tracks we had to chose. I've designed cds before in the past but i've always known what the music is like and what the band looks like. I'm looking forward to hearing the music and see what images I can think of to suit the music for my design.

I've quite liked working this way around actually, not knowing what the music is like. It allows you to be really abstract with your ideas at the moment, which is good, because as soon as we listen to the music we'll have a whole different set of ideas in our heads again.
That way we sort of get a before and after of ideas to play with.
It is an interesting way to do a cd cover. Who knows it could turn out to be really good music. I guess it lets us design for the name first.
